Book two dives deeper into the pressures of maintaining a perfect, yet perfectly authentic-seeming image as a social media influencer: brand partnerships, photo retouching, ghost writers and keeping up appearances.
The chapters are interspersed with Instagram posts, text messages and Ellie’s reflections on what it means to be an influencer. 
Laurence Beaudoin-Masse says she spent her teenage years being jealous of the popular girls and living out great love stories in her head. As an adult, she is fascinated by influencers and wrote this book to help girls who, like her, don’t feel like they’re good enough.
